About AIGA DC
We are the DC chapter of AIGA, the largest professional association for graphic design.
Washington, DC—a sprawling, transient city where the population shifts with the political climate and there’s no such thing as a “sure thing.” Here, community can be tough to find and even tougher to keep.
Since 1984, AIGA DC has been answering that question. From our beginnings as a craft and design club of 79 members, we've grown grown to include more than 1,000 individuals from Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Our educational programs and online communities provide forums for the sharing of ideas and resources, and our public service initiatives help make design accessible to everyone. From college students to firm principals to local service providers, everyone can find a place in the AIGA DC community to learn, grow and excel.
